ABOUT THE SONG REVOLUTION PODCAST
The Song Revolution Podcast, created and sponsored by Nashville Christian Songwriters, is a fresh voice of information, entertainment, and encouragement for aspiring Christian songwriters worldwide. Hosted by Christian music industry veteran songwriter, producer, and publisher, John Chisum, the podcast seeks to bring fresh insight and inspiration to help aspiring songwriters utilize their gifts, build their understanding of the craft of songwriting, and harness today’s technological opportunities to establish their own songwriting careers.
With over 24,000 downloads since launching April 1, 2017, The Song Revolution Podcast has offered weekly teaching on songwriting and interviews from industry legends John Mays and Chad Segura (Centricity Music), Mike Harland (LifeWay Worship), publishing legend Randy Cox (Rich Mullins, Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Steven Curtis Chapman, and more), popular CCM artists Jason Gray and Audrey Assad, live music producer legend Tom Jackson (Taylor Swift and dozens more). Recent episodes have featured Ginny Owens, Tim TImmons, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Journey band member, Jonathan Cain, as well as popular artist and worship leader, Aaron Shust. The Song Revolution Podcast is now a featured show on One Jam Nation Radio (onejamnationradio.com) at 2pm Eastern on Thursdays and Saturdays. While many disregard Christian music as passe, The Song Revolution Podcast invites its listeners to “light a candle” instead of “cursing the darkness.” Let the revolution begin.
